# Punks Comic #1

The genesis of everything: Punks Comic #1 is the first Pixel Vault NFT, the first asset ever held in the Founders DAO vault, and a true piece of NFT history.

The idea behind Punks Comic #1: The Hunt for the Lost Robbies was revolutionary. It broke ground on the idea that NFTs could be the base for an intellectual property franchise. The story follows the 16 Punks on a hunt for a legendary Lost Robbie, and the comic itself could be staked for a portion of the 100,000,000 $punks tokens that represent ownership of the 16 Cryptopunks that form the base for the comic's characters.

Punks Comic #1 pioneered ideas about the composability of NFTs as building blocks of culture--a vision in which NFTs could represent characters, in stories and worlds built around crypto culture, and that those stories and characters could be owned by the communities who care about them.

The Founder's DAO holds this grail of grails: mint #1 of Punks Comic: The Hunt for the Lost Robbies.
